The island of Brač has excellent ferry connections with mainland, and it is connected by a fast catamaran line with the island of Hvar. The city of Split, the largest paasenger harbour in Croatia (and the second largest on the Mediterannean) is located only half of hour by ferry from the island of Brač.

Supetar has excellent connection with Split during the entire year. The journey lasts for about 30 minutes, and the ferry transports cars and other vehicles.
